This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version (Conditions générales de vente) prevails.
Last updated: 17 October 2026.
1. Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions of sale govern the sale of bar tools and cocktail accessories concluded on the website barware.fr between [To be completed: company name], [To be completed: legal form and share capital], [To be completed: registered address], [To be completed: SIREN / RCS number] (hereinafter “the seller”) and any natural person acting as a consumer (hereinafter “the customer”). Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms, which the customer accepts by ticking the box provided for this purpose before confirming the order.
2. Products
The products offered are described and photographed as accurately as possible. Photographs show the products in context and may differ slightly in colour or appearance depending on the screen used; props (drinks, garnishes, decor) are not supplied unless stated otherwise in the description. Offers are valid while stocks last.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros and are the net prices payable: VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (VAT exemption scheme). Tracked delivery is free on all orders, with no minimum spend: no delivery charge is invoiced. The seller may change its prices at any time; products are invoiced at the price in force when the order is confirmed.
4. Ordering
The customer selects products, checks the contents of the cart, enters contact details and the delivery address, chooses the payment method, accepts these terms and confirms the order. A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to the customer. The seller reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute over payment for a previous order.
5. Payment
Payment is made online, when ordering, by bank card (CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or with Apple Pay and Google Pay. It is processed by WooPayments, the WooCommerce payment service operated with Stripe: card details are entered in the provider’s secure module, encrypted and never stored by the seller. The customer’s account is debited when the order is confirmed, and the order is prepared as soon as payment is confirmed. If payment is refused, the order is not confirmed.
6. Delivery
Products are delivered to mainland France, to the address given when ordering, by tracked delivery. Dispatch time: [To be completed: dispatch time] from receipt of payment; delivery time: [To be completed: delivery time]. A tracking number is sent by email as soon as the order is dispatched. Full details are on the Shipping and returns page. If delivery is more than 7 days later than the announced date, the customer may, after a formal notice that remains unanswered, terminate the contract in accordance with articles L216-6 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
The customer checks the condition of the parcel on receipt and reports any problem (damaged parcel, missing or broken product) to the carrier and to customer service as soon as possible, with photographs.
7. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from receipt of the products to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason. The customer informs the seller by an unambiguous statement, by email to contact@barware.fr or using the form below, then returns the products within 14 days of this notification to the following address: [To be completed: return address].
Products must be returned complete, in their original packaging and in perfect condition. Return costs are borne by the customer. The seller refunds all sums paid, including the initial delivery costs (on the basis of the standard rate), within 14 days of notification of the withdrawal; the refund may be deferred until the products or proof of their dispatch have been received. The refund is made using the payment method used for the order, unless the customer expressly agrees to another method. The customer may be held liable for any loss in value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and proper functioning.
Withdrawal form (complete and return only if you wish to withdraw from the contract): “To [To be completed: company name], [To be completed: address], contact@barware.fr: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the sale of the following goods: , ordered on [date] / received on [date], order number [number], name of consumer, address of consumer, date, signature (if sent on paper).”
8. Legal guarantees
The seller is bound by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).
- Guarantee of conformity: the customer has 2 years from delivery of the goods to take action. The customer may obtain repair or replacement of the goods or, failing that, a price reduction or termination of the sale. During these 2 years, the customer does not have to prove the lack of conformity, which is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery.
- Guarantee against hidden defects: the customer may take action within 2 years of discovering the defect and choose between termination of the sale and a price reduction.
To use these guarantees, the customer contacts customer service at contact@barware.fr, describing the defect, with photographs.
9. Customer service
Customer service replies by email at contact@barware.fr or via the contact page.
10. Consumer mediation
If a dispute with customer service remains unresolved, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: [To be completed: name, address and website of the mediator], in accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. The customer must first have sent a written complaint to the seller.
11. Personal data
The data collected when ordering is necessary to process the order. How it is used and your rights are described in our privacy policy.
12. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. Failing that, the customer may refer the matter, at their choice, to the court of the place where they lived at the time the contract was concluded or the damage occurred, or to any other competent court.
