There is no need to buy all the equipment of a professional bar to make good cocktails. Five tools are enough for most of the great classics, shaken or stirred.
1. A shaker
For cocktails made with juice, syrup or egg. A Cobbler to start with, a Boston to go further.
2. A jigger
The jigger measures every ingredient. A cocktail is a matter of balance: a few millilitres too many and the recipe tips over.
3. A bar spoon
Long and twisted, the bar spoon stirs cocktails in the mixing glass and also measures small quantities.
4. A mixing glass
For cocktails made only of spirits, such as the Negroni or the Old Fashioned: the mixing glass chills and dilutes without clouding the drink.
5. Strainers
The Hawthorne strainer for the shaker, the Julep for the mixing glass, the fine strainer for double straining: find them in our strainers.
To get everything at once, our cocktail kits bring these tools together in one set.
